Former Houston Dynamo, Hearts winger Driver training with Yeovil

Andy Driver is training with English Championship club Yeovil Town following his departure from MLS club Houston Dynamo.

The 26-year old former Heart of Midlothian winger is a free agent after his MLS contract expired at the culmination of the 2013 season and is being given a chance to keep fit with the Glovers.

"Andrew has joined us for a little while," said manager of the Somerset club, Gary Johnson. "I know him quite well from his Hearts days, when my son Lee played there. He's just come back from America and probably needs a couple of weeks to get fit. It's too early to talk about anything more than that.

"There haven't been any talks about him signing here or anything like that. Andrew hasn't played for a little while. I think November was his last game. We all know he is a quality player when he's right. We just need to see if we've got that time. There isn't a time limit on this, we're having a chat every day and taking it from there."
