Former Hannover 96 and Fortuna Dusseldorf midfielder Sal Zizzo has joined Chivas USA.
The 23-year old was sent to the Los Angeles club after a weighted lottery which was held on Wednesday.
Zizzo, a San Diego native, has experience in youth levels with the USA national team as well as one senior cap making him a prized recruit in the eyes of Chivas head coach Martin Vasquez.
"Zizzo is a player that our coaching staff knows well, and we're very happy to have him join the club," said Vasquez. "He's a young, exciting attacking player with both international experience and a great deal of potential, and we look forward to seeing him in action."
