Former Hamilton midfielder Videira content in MLS

Former Hamilton Academical midfielder Michael Videira is happy in MLS with New England Revolution.

The 23-year old was released from the Scottish club in December after failing to make the first team but is now making his way with the Revolution.

"At this point, it's a lot of pressure and hard work, but it's more of a relief getting the minutes in now, whereas before it was the anticipation of getting the minutes,'' said Videira, who has been slowed by a right quad strain.

"It's been easier now that I'm in to try to build on it as opposed to building on something while you wait. I'm enjoying it for sure.''

New England coach Steve Nicol was happy that Videira is finding some form.

"He's getting better because he's getting time on the field,'' Nicol said.

"He's made better decisions because of the more he's playing. When you do things well, no matter what job you do, it does give you confidence. For a player to get chances and make chances it makes you feel better."
