Former Fulham striker Johnson already feels a part of Seattle Sounders setup

Eddie Johnson has revealed that he has settled very quickly into life with new club Seattle Sounders.

The former FC Dallas, Sporting Kansas City and Fulham striker joined the Sounders just over a week ago and says it has been a breeze to fit in mainly because of the welcoming nature of his new teammates.

"This being my 10th year as a professional, and (having traveled) around the world, one thing I can say about the team here in Seattle is from the first day I arrived the team has made me feel very welcome," Johnson told the Seattle Times.

"The fans, as well, and the whole organization. That's a positive thing.

"When you're new on a team, I think it's all about adjusting. From my first day when I arrived with the team, I felt like I had been here for many years. It's been going great. It's a good group. Like I've said, it's fun playing with these guys. It's good to be a part of the organization and I'm looking forward to the season this year."
