ChampionshipNottingham Forest are set to name their new boss within 48 hours, with former manager Billy Davies the overwhelming favourite, reports BBC Nottingham. Davies is odds-on with nearly all bookmakers to succeed his fellow Scot.
Davies, who managed the club between January 2009 and June 2011, twice led the club to the Championship play-offs.
The 48-year-old also held talks with Blackpool over the vacant manager's position but no deal was agreed.
