Former England boss throws hat into ring for Notts County vacancy

Peter Taylor has again renewed his interest in managing Notts County. The one-time England boss twice wanted the job at Meadow Lane last season and is still interested following Paul Ince's departure on Sunday.

Taylor, who is out of work after leaving League Two club Bradford at the end of February, told the Nottingham Post: "It is a good job. I'm sure there will be a lot of people interested in it.

"If they invite applications, I would definitely consider it. It is a good club with a rich history and I know people who have worked there.

"I want to get back into the game as soon as possible."
