Roy Hodgson is interested in speaking with Leicester City regarding their managerial job.

Following last week's sacking of Claudio Ranieri, the Foxes are on the hunt for an experienced manager to steer them away from the relegation zone.

According to Sky Sports, former England boss Hodgson is keen to talk to the reigning Premier League champions about the possibility of taking the reins at the King Power Stadium.

However, it is unclear if the ex-Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham boss is a candidate for the East Midland club.

Interim manager Craig Shakespeare is expected to continue on in charge for the time being after guiding the team to a 3-1 victory over Liverpool on Monday night.
