According to reports from The Sun, former England manager Roy Hodgson wants the vacant Crystal Palace job.
Sam Allardyce surprisingly resigned from the manager's post at the Eagles last week, and it is reported that Hodgson views the role as an opportunity to have one last crack at club management.
The 69-year old had an unsuccessful four-year stint with the Three Lions, which culminated in being kicked out of Euro2016 after losing to minnows Iceland.
The former Inter Milan boss has also spent time in the Premier League having managed Fulham, Liverpool, Blackburn and West Bromwich Albion.
