Promising midfielder Brian 'Cobi' Span has signed a deal with Major League Soccer allowing him entry into a weighted lottery this week.
The 21-year old, who most recently played with Djurgardens IF, was a free agent after his time in Sweden ended but will now be allocated a MLS club in Thursday's lottery.
The University of Virginia alumni is most likely to land at FC Dallas as they have the best chance of winning the lottery due to their poor record in 2013.
