Bahia forward Freddy Adu has wished Juan Agudelo all the best as he moves on following his failed transfer to Premier League club Stoke City.
The 21-year old striker was set to join the Potters from New England Revolution in January but was denied a work permit by the UK Home Office and at this stage will remain in the USA.
Former DC United starlet Adu, who has had stints with Monaco and Philadelphia Union among others, posted on Twitter that he feels sorry for the promising talent after his botched move.
Very sad to see that Juan agudelo has been refused a work permit to play for stoke. Quality player and wishing him nothing but the best.
