Former Crystal Palace, QPR boss Warnock to hold Cardiff talks

Cardiff City will hold discussions with Neil Warnock regarding their managerial vacancy.

Sky Sports reports that the Bluebirds will speak with the 67-year-old after they sacked Paul Trollope on Tuesday.

Cardiff sit second bottom on the Championship table with just eight points from their opening 11 matches and feel Warnock could be the right man to lead them back up the table, just as he did with Rotherham United last term.

Warnock left the Millers at the end of last season and is keen to return to management.

The Sheffield native has previously guided Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers from the Championship to the Premier League, while also recently experiencing stints with Crystal Palace and Leeds United.
