Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar insists that the Chinese Super League could become one of the best leagues in the world in the coming years.
The Brazil international became the latest high-profile name to move to China from Europe when he joined Shanghai SIPG on a £500,000-a-week deal from Chelsea recently.
"I don't think it is a step down," Oscar told reporters in Doha, where he is taking part in the training camp of his new club.
"I think in China they are making a great project for me and all the good players that are coming to the league.
"I am pretty sure that in the future the Chinese league will be one of the best leagues in the world."
