Former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is eyeing immediate success after signing for North American Soccer League (NASL) club Tampa Bay Rowdies.
The 34-year-old West Ham United great, who played for League One club Coventry City this season, will be playing his trade in the second tier of the American league system next season and is determined to achieve success as soon as possible.
"I'd just like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, my family and I are excited to be here," Cole said at his unveiling.
"I started talking with Bill [Edwards] and Stu [Stuart Campbell] about six months ago. I came to a game and everyone was just so welcoming.
"I want to be here for the start of something big. I want to win championships. There's nothing bigger in football that winning. The aim is to win championships. That's the plan."
