Former Chelsea boss Hiddink gets Anzhi job

Big-spending Russians Anzhi Makhachkala have announced the signing of Guus Hiddink as their new manager.

The Dutchman, who has previously had jobs with the likes of Turkey, Chelsea, Russia, Australia and PSV Eindhoven, has penned an 18-month deal with the Russian Premier League outfit to take charge of the first team as well as overseeing the overall development.

"Today Guus Hiddink signed the contract. As well as the post of chief coach, Hiddink will also occupy the post as vice president of the club in charge of development," Anzhi said in a statement.
