Nicolas Anelka has kicked off his West Bromwich Albion career with a brace in a 3-0 friendly win over Hungarian side Puskas FC Academy.
The 34-year old French striker joined the Baggies as a free agent earlier this summer after his short spell with Juventus finished at the end of last season.
Anelka scored from the six-yard box with a sweeping finish in the 10th minute before adding a second prior to the half-hour mark with a header.
Albion boss Steve Clarke made a number of changes at half-time which allowed Graham Dorrans the opportunity to score with a late penalty.
