Toronto FC striker Robert Earnshaw is looking forward to beginning a potentially positive on-field relationship with Danny Koevermans.
The former Sparta Rotterdam, AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven striker is close to a comeback following a knee injury sustained last season and offseason signing Earnshaw can't wait to strike up a partnership.
"We are hoping that he can get back as soon as possible," Earnshaw said.
"He is just slowly getting there and getting some minutes on the training pitch, which is huge.
"But it is encouraging. We love to see him on the training pitch and it gives us a lift because he has done well just to get this far."
