Ex-Brisbane Roar skipper Craig Moore was on target as Kavala went down 3-1 to Ergotelis in the Greek Super League overnight.

The 34-year old converted from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute to tie the game at 1-1 at the Kavala Stadium before the visitors took over and scored twice in the second half to inflict defeat on Moore's side.

The Socceroos defender joined Kavala on an 18-month contract in January. They are currently in sixth place on the league table, eight points out of the top five.
