Guangzhou Evergrande have hired Luiz Felipe Scolari as replacement for departing boss Fabio Cannavaro.
The Chinese Super League club have parted ways with Cannavaro after he took over from Marcello Lippi only in November.
The former Italy star guided the Tigers to top spot after 13 league matches but has now exited the Tianhe Stadium with ex-Brazil manager Scolari taking the reins meaning Guangzhou have replaced one World Cup winner with another.
