Former boss Warnock backs Plymouth’s Football League survival
Former Plymouth Argyle boss Neil Warnock says he is optimistic that the club can stay in the Football League.
"It's imperative that they stay up," he continued, speaking to BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I'm really pleased that Paul Wotton's come back. He might not be the quickest, but he's never been the quickest, but he's got a great passion for the club and I think you need people like that at this stage.
"With him and (Darren) Purse around I think they've got every opportunity and I'm optimistic that they can pull the results out because it is a great club."
And Warnock, who still has a home in Cornwall, says he would not rule out a return to Home Park.
"If I can help in any way then I will do," he said. "Hopefully they can get the results to stay up this year," Warnock said.
