Real Salt Lake have taken Jamaican veteran Ricardo Gardner on trial.
The 34-year old defender has been without a club since he departed Bolton Wanderers in May last year but RSL head coach Jason Kreis still wants to run the rule over him.
Gardner, who made over 400 appearances for the Trotters, has also represented Jamaica on 112 occasions and is a former national teammate of RSL assistant Andy Williams.
