Former Barcelona, Chelsea strike Gudjohnsen emerges on Perth Glory radar

Eidur Gudjohnsen is the latest player to be linked with a possible move to A-League club Perth Glory according to recent reports.

The 34-year old Icelandic striker, currently contracted to Belgian club Cercle Brugge, is reportedly a target for the Glory who today dropped their interest in Stoke City's Michael Owen.

The Glory released Billy Mehmet to Thai club Bangkok Glass FC last week and are on the lookout for a big-name attacker to replace him with former Bolton, Chelsea, Barcelona and Tottenham forward Gudjohnsen now being linked with a move to Western Australia.
