Former Arsenal striker Bendtner nets for Nottingham Forest to break 999 UK day drought

Nicklas Bendtner managed to score his first goal in England after exactly 1000 days on Tuesday night.

Former Arsenal striker Bendtner made a move back to England this summer by joining Nottingham Forest and opened his account for the Championship outfit when finding the back of the net in a league encounter against Fulham at the City Ground which ended in a 1-1 draw.

The goal was most certainly a significant one for Bendtner and as an amazing stat, the Danish international's goal came exactly 1000 days after he last scored in the country - back on January 1, 2014 for Arsenal against Cardiff City.
