Former Arsenal and England goalkeeper Richard Wright is set to trial with MLS club San Jose Earthquakes.
The 32-year old gloveman has been training with English Championship club Crystal Palace recently and was reportedly close to joining Premier League new boys Blackpool last week but it seems as though his former Ipswich Town teammate Frank Yallop is keen to give him a chance in the States.
Wright will fly out to San Jose this week to undergo a trial with hopes of winning a MLS contract as his hopes of remaining in England begin to fade.
