Former Arsenal hero Brady rushed to hospital

The former Irish international and Arsenal star was admitted for treatment at Dublin's Beaumont hospital where he is in a stable condition according to a spokeswoman.

Brady travelled to Norway with the Republic squad for their 1-1 draw in Oslo on Wednesday night and arrived back in Dublin with the rest of the coaching staff at around 2am.

"Liam Brady was feeling a bit unwell this morning and as a precautionary measure he went into hospital where he is in a stable condition, and lucid," confirmed an FAI spokesman.
