Mauro Rosales says he is close to completing a contract extension with Seattle Sounders and is keen to remain with the club for a while yet.
The Argentine midfielder joined the Sounders in February after finishing up with homeland club River Plate and has indicated that he is poised to sign a two-year deal before he returns home for holidays.
"I think it's almost done. There are a few details and I will wait a little bit more, but I think in these (upcoming) weeks there will be news on what it's going to be," said the former Ajax man.
"Maybe this week. Before I go back for my holiday. I don't know when I will go back to Argentina, but I want to do it before I go.
" I would love to (for two years). I think also in my mind it's trying to stay longer than that.
"I don't want to put a limit to how many years I want to be here. I really want to be (here) for a long time."
