Former AC Milan and Inter striker Ronaldo was delighted with his playing comeback this week.

Ronaldo, after 13 months out following knee surgery, played the second-half of Corinthians' 2-0 Brazilian Cup victory over Itumbaria.

Yesterday, Ronaldo said: "I've suffered a lot this year. I have asked myself several times if I would be able to return or not. But this is just the beginning, it hasn't finished here.

"I must still improve a lot. From now on there will be games every Wednesday and Sunday. I cannot play them all, but I hope to be there often."
