Inverness have pounced for the signature of former Dunfermline and Aberdeen defender Richie Byrne until the end of the season. Boss Craig Brewster told Inverness' official website: "Richie has been out injured for a while and if we can get him fully fit, he will be an excellent asset to have at the club.

"He has been training with us the last couple of days but Saturday will come too early for him to be considered.

"It's a great opportunity for Richie to come into an environment where we will really look after him and push him all the way to get fully fit."
