Forlan hopes Aguirre stays with Atletico Madrid
Diego Forlan hopes Javier Aguirre stays in the job at Atletico Madrid next season.
After his brace in Atletico's 4-1 victory over Racing Santander last night, Forlan said: "Our coach is happy. He's been here for a long time and knows the players very well. That is very important.
"I'm not the one who decides. If he continues it's because the team is achieving its objectives and on its own merits. Hopefully the boss will continue with us next year, as it will mean that we have done well."
