Chelsea have made an approach to Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini, it has been revealed.Punto Pelota says while all the buzz is that Blues owner Roman Abramovich wants to be reunited with Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho, it is Chilean Pellegrini that he wants most.

Contact has already been established with Pellegrini's camp, with the former Real Madrid coach having taken English language lessons in the past to prepare himself for a move to the Premier League.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a big fan of Pellegrini and has urged him to test himself in England in the past.
