England rubgy union star Danny Cipriani has been training with Colorado Rapids.

There's genuine fears within English rugby that Cipriani could be lost to soccer - and MLS.

The Wasps fly-half, who is joining Australian side Melbourne Rebels from Wasps, has already trained with Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers this summer.

Rapids head coach Gary Smith revealed: "Dan has a friendship with members of our coaching staff and is currently training with the club.

"He wanted to take advantage of training at altitude and to engage in competitive sessions with our club as we prepare for the last part of our season."
