Paul Anderson hopes his impressive form on-loan at Nottingham Forest will convince Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez to hold onto him next season.
"You have to have a belief in yourself or there's no point in playing," he told liverpoolfc.tv. "Hopefully I can come back at the end of the season and the gaffer back at Liverpool will take me in as part of the first team squad.
"We'll have to see. I'm working hard and doing my job at Nottingham Forest. Hopefully I'll go back and do what I want to do. If not, then I've tried my best.
"I've had a bit of feedback from the staff at Melwood. They are just telling me to get on with it. They said 'Enjoy yourself, play as many games as you can and play as well as you can.'
"We will sit down and review it at the end of the season, see how I've done and make some sort of decision on my future then."
