New signing Adlene Guedioura has thanked the Nottingham Forest fans for their supportive messages in the run-up to his permanent move to the City Ground. The 26-year-old midfielder admits their encouragement played a major role in his return to the Championship club, following a 19-match loan spell last season.
The Algerian international has signed a three-year deal after Forest agreed to pay Wolves an undisclosed fee for his services, and he told the club's official website: "I was on holiday and looking on Twitter and I saw that the fans were asking me to come."
He added: "I was really pleased when I had this appeal from the fans so I have to say thank you to them. Hopefully we can win promotion for them."
