Nottingham Forest striker Britt Assombalonga is backing their move for Hull City winger Thomas Ince.
Ince is a loan target for Forest boss Stuart Pearce.
Assombalonga told the Nottingham Post: "The manager knows what he is doing, he will know the right players to bring in and the kind of players we don't need to bring to the club.
"It (Ince's loan) might give us a lift. At the end of the day sometimes you have to take a chance on something, to see if it does give you a boost.
"He is a good player, I can't say anything else, because he is a good player.
"Time will tell what happens, but if he comes in it will be a good thing. It is up to the manager what he wants to do. He knows what is best for the club."
