Nottingham Forest captain Ian Breckin is urging Kris Commons to resist a Bosman move to Derby County.

He told The Sun: "The decision is down to Kris. Now we've gone up, I'm sure he'll want to stay.

"We're desperate to keep him and the rivalry with Derby would make it very tough if he did move.

"The lads in the dressing room talk but things like this are very personal and I don't think he's made his mind up either way.

"Kris will have to see what develops in the next few weeks and hopefully his decision will see him stay at Forest."
