Nottingham Forest defender Thomas Lam isn't surprised by growing transfer interest in teammate Oliver Burke.

Burke, 19, is already on the radar of Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal and Sunderland.

Lam said: “Oliver is a very good player with a lot of potential. He shows his strengths every week on the pitch and he reminds me of Gareth Bale.

“I'm not saying he will be as good as Bale, but he has that sort of potential. Even though he's still so young he's a really important player for us.

“You can see he scares opposition defenders because he is so dangerous."
