Forest not given up on Kuwaiti duo

ChampionshipNottingham Forest will take another look at Kuwait internationals Bader al-Mutawa and Khalid al-Rashidi as they ponder a second work permit application. It was hoped that Al-Mutawa and Al-Rashidi could be drafted into Sean O'Driscoll's squad, but they failed to secure work permits.

"The Reds are considering re-applying for permits in January and as part of that process O'Driscoll has decided to make a personal check on two of them," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The manager, accompanied by Director of Recruitment and Scouting Keith Burt, will watch them in action as al-Mutawa's Al Qadsia meet al-Rashidi's Al Arabi later today (Monday)."
