Nottingham Forest legend Kenny Burns says Manchester City firebrand Mario Balotelli will never change his ways.
Burns wrote in his column for thisisnottingham.co.uk: "How many times have we heard it? Fabulous talent, just let down by a bad attitude.
"Manchester City's Mario Balotelli is the perfect example of that and he has been in the news for all the wrong reasons again.
"This time, for his unbelievable showboating as he went through in a pre-season friendly against LA Galaxy only to turn round and try and backheel the ball into the net.
"Manager Roberto Mancini rightly hauled the 20-year-old striker off the pitch to give him a dressing down.
"But the fact is, Balotelli looks like he is never going to learn.
"At Inter Milan he had bust up after bust up with Jose Mourinho before his switch to Man City.
"And, to be frank, I cannot see him still being at there come the end of the season. I really think he will be gone. He carries a lot of baggage and he must rub his team-mates up the wrong way, too.
"I know if I was in that squad I would want to knock him down a peg or two.
"There were suggestions he thought he might have been offside, that is why he tried his luck with a backheel.
"If he was a proper striker, he would have bludgeoned the ball into the back of the net regardless."
