Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies hopes to extend the loan of Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand.
Bertrand is due to return to his parent club in January, having taken in the first half of the season with the Reds.
"Ryan has a hamstring problem which is going to sideline him for a few weeks," Davies told the Nottingham Evening Post.
"It is in the hands of the panel (whether Bertrand's loan is extended). I have advised what I think should happen and we now have to see what can be done."
