Nottingham Forest boss Steve McClaren is desperate to keep hold of midfielder Guy Moussi.
McClaren replaced Billy Davies at the City Ground this week.
And The Sun says he will have to mount a strong effort to prevent Frenchman Moussi, 26, from leaving on a free transfer to join Premier LeagueStoke City.
McClaren is keen to offer Moussi a new contract.
