Forest boss Cotterill desperate to keep West Brom target McCleary

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cotterill is desperate not to lose winger Garath McCleary.

Forest chiefs are in negotiations with the executors of deceased former owner Nigel Doughty's will and boss Cotterill is likely to get the go-ahead to offer the winger an £8,000-a-week deal, says the Mirror.

West Bromwich Albion are among top-flight clubs monitoring developments.
