Manchester City youngster Dedryck Boyata is a target for Nottingham Forest and Bolton Wanderers.
Boyata had failed to make an impact in Holland, making just one start in the league under the former England boss Steve McClaren.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Bolton, but was unable to prevent the Trotters being relegated.
