Southampton captain Jose Fonte says their strikers must do better in front of goal.
Saints slipped out of the top four after losing 2-0 at home to in-form Liverpool on Sunday - their third home defeat in four games.
Fonte said: "Obviously, we haven't scored many goals. Things are not clicking when we're attacking in last third of the pitch so we need to work on that.
"We're still in the mix. It's a long way until the end. There's another 12 games, so a lot of points to play for.
"We won't put our heads down and let ourselves go. We're going to keep working on the training ground and try and put this right."
