Wolves midfielder Kevin Foley feels they should follow the example of Stoke City.
Tony Pulis' men have earned 45, 47 and 46 points in those three seasons compared to Wolves' 33 38 and 40.
"If you look at a team like Stoke I think you'd say they've established themselves very well," said Foley.
"They are a season ahead of us but if we can look at what they have done that would be great.
"We can't get too carried away and say we're going to be pushing for Europe - let's not kid ourselves.
"But at the same time we don't want to just be happy with escaping relegation.
"We want to be pushing on as much as we possibly can."
