AS Roma are lining up a bid for Fluminense midfielder Jean.

The 22 year-old has only just been capped by Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari and is on Roma's summer shopping list.

Flu chief Rodrigo Caetano warned, however: "I heard the rumours circulating in Italy, but if Roma is interested, they must first pass by us.

"At present I would say that Jean will stay with us for a long time."
