Fluminense hope to clinch a deal with Chelsea midfielder Deco.

Flu officials will be in London next week for talks with the Brazilian-born Portugal international.

The 32-year-old still has another season left on his Stamford Bridge contract but is pleading to be released so that he can be closer to his sons in Rio de Janeiro.

Flamengo and Deco's first club Corinthians have also shown an interest, but Fluminense will be the first to offer a concrete proposal when officials arrive in England over the weekend.

A meeting is being planned for after Chelsea's final Barclays Premier League match of the season at home against Wigan Athletic on Sunday, when the Blues should clinch the title.
