Fluminense midfielder Gerson only wants a move to Barcelona.
The Brazilian youngster has this week turned down a lucrative offer from Roma to leave the way clear to join Barca.
Barca had paid over €3 million for first option on Gerson, but Roma were threatening their plans this past week.
However, Gerson has kept his word to Barca.
Roma had offered €15 million to Flu for the teen. Barca aim to close an agreement in the coming days for around €12 million.
Barca want to bring forward their plans and sign Gerson immediately and have him train with Luis Enrique's squad until January.
Due to the club's FIFA transfer ban, all summer signings must wait until January 1, 2016 before registering with Barca.
