Fluminense have played down suggestions that star striker Fred could soon be on his way to Manchester City.
The 29-year old striker, who scored two goals for Brazil in their 3-0 Confederations Cup final triumph over Spain on Sunday, has emerged as a target for City according to reports but has no intention to leave Fluminense according to the clubs director of football Rodrigo Caetano.
"Fred is under contract with Fluminense, he is very happy at the club and we are very satisfied with him," Caetano told ESPN Brazil.
