In-form Wigan striker Amr Zaki is in doubt for this weekend's clash with Newcastle United.

The start Egyptian is struggling with the flu along with a few niggling injuries as stated by his personal advisor Mohamed Saied.

"He played with flu against Stoke and Arsenal, he is also complaining from an old calf injury. Furthermore, he received a knock to his ribs during the Arsenal match."

Zaki's form this season has been superb scoring eight goals in 12 Premier league games and his strike power will be sorely missed against the out of touch Magpies.
