AS Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco has urged fans to get behind Alessandro Florenzi.

During victory over Latina, Florenzi was insulted for wanting '30 pieces of silver' by a group of ultras due to the on-going contract negotiations.

Di Francesco stated: “I saw some positive situations over the last few days on his contract renewal and I get the impression they are progressing well.

"Florenzi is a Roma player and naturally I'm happier when he is cheered on than criticised."
