Real Madrid will confirm Florentino Perez as new president today at 1pm.
Perez, with no challenger coming forward, officially became Real president at 12:01am this morning.
He is expected to name Jorge Valdano as his new general manager today and could unveil Villarreal's Manuel Pellegrini as new coach as early as Tuesday afternoon.
